When Woody the Woodsman stumbles upon a magical tree guarded by the fairy Contrary Mary, he is granted three wishes in return for sparing it from his axe. After wasting his first wish proving the magic is real, Woody uses his second to travel to Rainbow’s End, expecting to find a pot of gold and become rich beyond his wildest dreams. Instead, he discovers a wonderful land inhabited by fairy-tale and nursery rhyme characters, from Bo Peep and Boy Blue to the Three Little Pigs, Incey Wincey Spider and the delightfully eccentric Old Ma Hubbard.
But all is not well in this enchanted world. The seemingly charming Lord Mayor, Mr Wile E Wolfe, has everyone fooled - he is actually the Big Bad Wolf in disguise! With the help of his sly sidekick Fiddler the Cat, Wolfe is plotting to seize complete control of Rainbow’s End by stealing Bo Peep’s sheep, kidnapping Farmer MacDonald's prized cow and framing newcomer Woody for the chaos.
Meanwhile, Woody finds himself falling head over heels for the sweet and spirited Red Riding Hood. Although Red is wary of the mysterious stranger who appeared out of nowhere, the pair soon grow close as Woody repeatedly comes to her aid. Their budding romance is put to the test when the Wolf sets his most wicked plan in motion, targeting Red and her beloved Granny as part of his scheme.
With danger closing in, it takes the combined efforts of Woody, Red, the Three Little Pigs, Dame Hood, Contrary Mary and the entire community to expose the Wolf's true identity and save the day. In the end, the villain is unmasked, Rainbow’s End is restored to happiness, and Woody discovers that the greatest treasure wasn't gold after all. Choosing to remain in Rainbow’s End forever, he becomes the new Lord Mayor and finally wins Red’s heart. A magical adventure packed with laughter, romance, friendship and fairy-tale fun!
